Anton Gimenez i Riba

The board of directors of the European Association INEDITS would like to pay tribute to the memory of Anton Gimenez i Riba, founder of the Association Cinema Rescat based in Barcelona and director of the Festival Memorimage in Reus (Catalunya) from 2006 to 2009.

Member of INEDITS through Cinema Rescat and director of a dynamic festival, we loved the man who was friendly and curious. We shared with him a common passion for amateur films: as well his work of collecting and preserving as their development  through contemporary films.

The European Association INEDITS would like to send their sincere condolences to his wife and colleagues of Cinema Rescat and of Filmoteca de Catalunya.
